2020

Senior Product Manager - Tech

  • Launched a scalable Air Cargo Flight Capacity Management System that enables Network Planners and Operators to control the flow rate of packages through the Amazon global Air network to achieve delivery promise, speed, utilization, and cost targets while also reducing human error through guard rails and automation.

  • Launched a Package Flow Planning solution that combines multiple optimization models in an automated workflow to determine, based upon a network topology, flight schedule, transit times, and a package demand forecast, the candidate origin to destination paths with a sortation plan to configure for execution in the Air Cargo network to maximize utilization and speed and minimize cost.

  • Launched a Disruption Management suite of tools to assist Amazon Air Network Controllers with defining, tracking, and communicating disruptive events as well as providing key decision support through predictive science models that determine in real time the available slack in the flight schedule that can be used to mitigate disruption impacts without impacting customer delivery promise dates.
